ALE will reserve the Mango Moon, a stunning boutique hotel in Quepos / Manuel Antonio, exclusively for your forum experience. The dining facilities, pool and Jacuzzi, all rooms and grounds, and the Mango Moon staff are dedicated entirely to the forum group to insure privacy and personalized, attentive service.
Perched high on a bluff overlooking the shimmering waters of the Pacific tucked into lush-tropical rainforest with spectacular ocean sunsets, Mango Moon is located in the most pristine area of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, only minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park, the world-class sport fishing port of Quepos, and the local Airport. Beautiful secluded Biesanz Beach with a prehistoric turtle trap and a natural reef for snorkeling is within walking distance. Spectacular surfing, renowned restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries are within a short walk. With exotic tropical gardens inhabited by colorful birds, golden-sunset views, and warm Costa Rican hospitality we can provide you with the personalized attention you would expect from a small intimate hotel.

Your adventure begins with an afternoon arrival at San Jose International Airport. Our ALE concierge host will be awaiting your arrival outside of the baggage claim and customs area to escort you to the regional airport for your departure to Quepos. The travel time from San Jose to Quepos is a 40 minute flight. You'll arrive at the Mango Moon hotel at 4:00 pm. While our ALE concierge host and driver are bringing your luggage to your suite you can relax and enjoy cocktails served poolside. A gourmet dinner featuring a combination of international flavors will be served at your convenience in the open air dining balcony of the Mango Moon.

Costa Rica's top adventure - Travel through the Costa Rican tropical jungle on suspension cables as you move through the primary jungle canopy with your bilingual guides and safety spotters from platform to platform. The howler monkeys will cheer you on as you experience the thrill of flying like the toucans through and above the forest at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. This is a once-in-a-lifetime adrenaline rush that will leave you pumped and ready to take on anything, including the Quepos night life.

Lunch will be served at Marlins restaurant, a beach side restaurants with a private dining balcony overlooking the ocean. After lunch we'll head across the street to the beach and surf, literally!

Beach Hang and ALE Surf School
Your ALE concierge host is also one of our exclusive surf instructors and will insure you experience the thrill of catching the wave and hanging 10. Lessons are split up with two students each with an instructor so there is plenty of individual attention. We will also have boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas and a really big cooler of refreshing liquids.

Cocktails will be awaiting your return at Mango Moon so you can relax and get ready for your dinner experience. We have arranged dinner at the Gaia hotel in Quepos which features a gourmet menu of international flavors and fine wines, in a beautiful tropical setting.

This adventure is a unique white water river rafting experience with lots of perks . Our world-class, internationally-trained, bilingual guides and safety kayakers will expertly teach you how to navigate through this exciting river experience. We'll start slowly and build our way up to an unforgettable yet manageable adventure that will leave you either begging for more or completely satisfied and happy that you experienced one of Costa Rica's famous rivers, the Savegre.
Our guides stop at locally known swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls to enjoy the abundant variety of wildlife along the river. On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the tropical rain forest. After a steady 13 mile trip down the river, we wind our way back to the little village of Silencio where our now experienced Savegre River rafters board our transport for a leisurely trip home to the Mango Moon Hotel to lounge by the pool and enjoy a late lunch.
Dinner is at 8:00 PM to provide plenty of time for forum activities at the Mango Moon. Our reservation is at Bamboo Jam, a local hotspot with live Latin music starting at 9:00 PM. By the time you're done with dinner the place will be jumping.

Following breakfast we'll have our driver ready to take you back to the Quepos airfield for your return chartered flight to San Jose. Our ALE concierge host will assist you with the check out process and the gathering of your belongings. Your return flight to San Jose will arrive mid morning with plenty of time to make the afternoon return flight schedules to the states. The Sansa shuttle will take you around to the international terminal.
