Thursday
Arrival in Costa Rica, San Jose International Airport
Our Activated Life Experiences guides will meet you outside customs and baggage claim and
lead you to our private transport for the drive to your first night's lodging (2 hour drive time).
Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available on board. (More than a bag of peanuts!)
Our first stop is Villa Caletas. We will arrive in the afternoon with time to relax by the pool, enjoy cold beverages, and settle into the tranquilo environment of Costa Rica. A "come when you're ready" dinner buffet will be set out at sunset on the Mirador terrace where we'll enjoy a sunset view. During the dinner we'll have group member and spouse introductions and an overview of the adventure that awaits us
Friday
7:00 am Awake to Costa Rica and enjoy your breakfast with ocean
views and the sounds of the jungle

8:00 am Depart Villas Caletas. Transport to Quepos / Manuel Antonio
and Rancho Casa Grande for our morning adventure. (2 hour)
10:30 AM Canopy Zip-Line tour.
Costa Rica's top adventure - Travel through the Costa Rican tropical jungle on suspension cables as you move through the primary jungle canopy with your bilingual guides and safety spotters from platform to platform. The howler monkeys will cheer you on as you experience the thrill of flying like the toucans through and above the forest. Following this adventure we'll head to the beach for lunch at Marlin's Restaurant a local surfer hangout and beach grill.
3:00 p.m. Beach Hang and ALE Surf School

We'll spend the afternoon on the beach to take in the sun and YES, the waves. We've brought
with us our exclusive ALE surf instructors to give all guests the thrill of catching the wave and hanging 10. We're batting a 1,000 so far in 2007 on getting our students up. If are not into surfing, we will also have boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas and a really big cooler of refreshing liquids.

A short walk down the beach is a long beach-side shopping district. A great place to peruse
unique, handcrafted gifts, and local culture.
The reward for trying TWO new experiences? Beverages and grilled appetizers on the beach
while bidding the sun a fond farewell. Our private transport will take us to our cliff-top hotel around 6:00 PM.

While you have been surfing, ALE has been working. After the sun dips into the Pacific, we will take the short ride up the hill to our exclusive accommodations for the next three days. Your bags are already in your rooms so enjoy soaking in your first full day in the "Rich Coast" and join us downstairs for a delicious tropical dinner prepared in the restaurant.
Accommodations:
Saturday
7:00 Breakfast to be served at the hotel
8:30 Depart for White Water Rafting The Savegre River
This adventurous, full-day trip is a unique white water river rafting adventure with lots of "perks". Our worldclass, internationally-trained, bilingual guides and safety kayakers will expertly teach you how to navigate through this exciting river experience. We'll start slowly and build our way up to an unforgettable yet manageable adventure that will leave you either begging for more or completely satisfied and happy that you experienced one of Costa Rica's famous rivers, the Savegre.

The Savegre River provides Class II, III and some IV rapids that are manageable in sturdy rafts that accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably. Our guides stop at locally known swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls to enjoy the abundant variety of wildlife along the river. On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the tropical rain forest. After a steady 13 mile trip down the river, we wind our way back to the little village of "Silencio" where our now experienced Savegre River rafters board our transport for a leisurely trip home to relax and get dressed for our dinner.
7:00 Dinner in La Luna Restaurant.
The finest in tropical formal dining, La Luna restaurant offers delicious, creative, international and local cuisine, and as one of our Group Concierges phrased it, "without question the best meal I have eaten in Costa Rica."

As you explore this breathtaking national park, enjoy learning the lesser known facts of the jungle. This program focuses on teamwork and eco-education.
